Indonesia which known as a high biological diversity is a potential country to develop medicinal plants species and explore the active compounds contained in it. Surianwood (Toona sinensis Roemor) is one of the species which potentially developed because it has been proved for containing active compounds that are toxic to certain types of cancer and has antioxidant and antibacterial effect, but it haven’t managed to isolate the active compounds. This research uses the column chromatography method with increased polarity to separate the essential oil into its fractions, then tested to A. salina shrimp larvae. The fractionation generates 9 fractions with fraction 1 is most active fraction which LC50 6.79 μg/mL. This fraction dominated by spathulenol (14.93%), neoallocimene (10.17%), α-curcumene (6.54%), β-elemene (3.40%) and ledene (3.39%).en
