Keruing (Dipterocarpus elongatus, Dipterocarpus retusus, and Dipterocarpus hasseltii) are categorized as commercial timber which has endangered status according to the IUCN. Keruing has been utilized by PT. Salaki Summa Sejahtera. Sustainability of Keruing can be indicate by the distribution pattern and it factors. The purpose of this study is to identify Keruing’s (Dipterocarpus spp.) distribution pattern, community similarity between primary forest and various former condition of logged over areas, the association and disassociation between Keruing and the other dominant species. Data was collected from tree stands that represent the condition of primary forest and various logged over areas (1 year, 4 year and 20 year). Lines plot with 20 m x 500 m, identifying tree species and measuring tree which has diameter for more than 10 cm was made for each condition of tree stands. Distribution pattern of D. elongatus and D. hasseltii is same. Distribution pattern of D. retusus can not be analyzed because it’s found only one tree. Species of D. hasseltii associate with H. merrillianus, H. woodii and H. grandiflorum. Species of D. elongates associate with H. woodii and S. ovalis.en
