dc.description.abstract | JELITA v1.3 is the result of ongoing research initiated by Ramadhini (2006), and continued by Setiadi (2007). JELITA v1.3 is a security system based on client-server network using a wireless IEEE 802.11b/g that aim integrate each house into centralized security monitoring system. This new version of JELITA changed the client-based system to server-based system due to efficiency reason. These changes include the replacement of dial-up functional to alarm system and moved the function of SMS-gateway to the server. On the client side, the use of passive infra red sensor (PIR) KC7789R, supporting JELITA v1.3 as a system that detected only human. This system provided several new functions that support the calculation of shortest path to the scene using Dijkstra's algorithm. In addition, JELITA v1.3 also integrated geographic information system (GIS) that help the security guard to identify the location of event easier. | en |
