| dc.description.abstract | Most phenomena in nature can be explained in mathematical models. One of the mathematical models explaining population growth is Volterra equation. Volterra population equation is a nonlinear integral equation. This equation can be solved using homotopy method, which is an analytical approximation method to obtain the solution of nonlinear problems. In this paper, Volterra population model is solved using homotopy method, which gives a recursive formula to be solved using MAPLE software.
