Expert System Diagnosis of ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) in school age children
Sistem Pakar Diagnoisi ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) pada Anak Usia Sekolah
Abstract
Expert System Diagnosis of ADHD in School Aged Children (SPDAPA) is a computer system developed for diagnosing ADHD in children. This system is based on the signs of attitude and behavior of children at home. This study aims to find the facts and knowledge bases to diagnose ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and develop a web based Expert System Diagnosis of ADHD in school-age children. Certainty factor (CF) is the method used to develop this system. This method needs a value of belief and unbelief information from the parameters which are used as a variable count. Therefore process will find the certainty factor. This research methodology uses several stages: frame of mind, an approach system, system design, identification and system model. System development also uses waterfall method that includes the definition and purpose of analysis, software and system design, implementation and unit testing, integration and testing, operation and maintenance of the system. The results of this study show the parameters of ADHD divided into three categories: Inattention, Hyperactivity, and Impulsivity and 24 parameters found from experts acquisition process. Each parameter has a value of belief (MB) and disbelief (MD) with a range of values between 0 to 1, which is a variable to search the value of certainty factor (CF). Finally, the result of this system is certainty factor (CF) with range between -1 to 1.
