Abstract

The presentation of information on tourism and public facilities in the city of Bogor to the community in general and in particular Bogor society becomes important. In that case we need a media that can provide information on all aspects related to tourism and public facilities in the city of Bogor. It would be better if the media allows the public to obtain the information needed quickly and easily for distribution. This study aims to build a Geographic Information System of Tourism and Public Facilities in the City of Bogor Portable using spatial database development, with a presentation that is easily accessible by all parties without restrictions of space and time. The information is presented in the form of maps and textual information on Tourism and Public Facilities in the City of Bogor. This system has a weakness during the process because the access time is longer than the system that run directly on the computer
