The research was conducted to determine the reproductive capability of Aedes aegypti related to the presence of male mosquitoes, that include the number of eggs, eggs groups, egg hatchability and fertility between female Aedes aegypti that lived together with the male mosquitoes during her life and female mosquitoes that lived together with the male mosquitoes until it’s first gonotrophic cycle. Mosquitoes were obtained from the Parasitology and Medical Entomology Insectarium FKH IPB. This research consisted of two treatment groups. Every treatment was repeated three times and each repetition consist of 20 females and 10 males Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The first treatment group consist of females that lived together with males during her life. The second treatment group consist of female mosquitoes that lived together with the male mosquitoes in the same cage until it’s first gonotrophic cycle. The number of eggs and eggs groups on both treatment did not show a significant difference. Egg hatchability also did not show a significant difference on both treatments. The female mosquitoes that lived together with the male mosquitoes just until the first gonotrophic cycle was capable to produce eggs in every gonotrophic cycle due to having a spermathecae.en
