dc.description.abstractCreating an efficient production scheduling was one of possible ways to maximize profit. The scheduling method mentioned above could be obtained via Integer Nonlinear Programming (INLP) and the heuristic method. This study aimed to apply an efficient production schedule via minimizing the production time (makespan) in production of the sweat bread in the PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo. The data set used in this research were primary and secondary data types, obtained from the company. The variables being measured in this research was the maximum time required in the production process of the bread. The method used was an application of the heuristic method. The results showed that the total process time obtained in the simulation was shorter than the existing schedule. The time was 1248 minutes long, which is 72 minutes more efficient than the schedule, currently applied in the company. This was due to the shorter setup time and more efficient distribution of the sweat bread for the customers.en
