dc.description.abstract | The development of security on the wireless LAN (WLAN) has increased. The latest security protocol that is used is IEEE S02.11 i. This security protocol provides data encryption which is difficult to be cracked, but the protocol is not able to protect the WLAN from Denial of Selvice, such as authentication request flooding, beacon flooding, and deauthentication request flooding. Our experiments indicate that DoS attacks can reduce throughput of the network, moreover DoS attacks are able to put the network in inaccessible condition for its authorized members. | en |
