dc.description.abstractBased on the Minister of Forestry’s decree no P34/ Menhut-II/ 2007 on implementation of forest inventory for whole area (IHMB) of each concession area (IUPHHK) either for natural forest or plantation forest, the concession holder is obligated to establish work plan for forest product utilization (section 73 and 75 Government Regulation No. 6 Year 2007) on the basis of the result of IHMB. During implementation of tree measurement in the field, all tree dimensions should be measured. This field measurement might be impractical and somehow difficult to be implemented. Thus, to facilitated this measurement, as well as to reduce human error, it is needed to establish supporting tools that include tree height curve, tree volume table and crown diametre curve. The main objective of this research is to establish volume table for concession area of PT. Trisetia Intiga. The developed volume tables are classified into meranti classes and non-meranti classes. The data were analyzed using computer with minitab-14’s software. The supporting equipments that used during data measurement in the field are GPS, Phi-band, Sonin distance measurement tool, Haglof height measurement tool, digital camera and other measuring tools. The procedure of this research includes data collection and selection of tree sample, measurement of tree dimension, data analysis and reporting. The criteria of model determination used are cofficient of determination, standard deviation, F-test and line diagnostic test. The selected models are V = 0.0000562 D 2.87 10 -0.0041 D for meranti class and V = 0.0000724 D 2.69 10 -0.00175 D for non-meranti class. Then based on comparison analysis with the estimation model for Kalimantan Tengah Province using agregat deviation value, RMSE, bias, X2(Khi-kuadrat), the best models are V = 0.0000562 D 2.87 10 -0.0041 D for meranti and V = 0.0000724 D 2.69 10 -0.00175 D for non-meranti classes.en
