The objective of this experiment was to study the health status of domestic cats (Felis domestica) through the erythrocyte examinations i.e erythrocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit value. Twelve domestic cats (7 females and 5 males) were used in this experiment. The blood was taken from femoralis vein with dysposable syringe and EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) vacutainer to determine erythrocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit values. Results of this study showed that erythrocytes count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit values were (7,00±1,30) 106/μl, (9,66± I,56) g/dL,and (31,16±4,68) %, respectively. In conclusion, erythrocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit values of domestic cats were in normal range.en
