dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to measure the coconut shell liquid smoke effect for house fly (Musca domestica). Grade 2 of liquid smoke, resulted from pirolisis process of coconut shell was mixed with alcohol 50% until the concentrat of liquid smoke solution reached 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% (50% alcohol without liquid smoke used as a control). Evaporizer used to turn the liquid into vapor. Each treatment was used 50 house flies, age 7-10 days. The treatment was repeated three times. The result of data analyzed with ANOVA and Duncan method. This research conclude the liquid smoke solution at 50% concentration had a highly knockdown effect and 100% concentration had a highly repellent effect for house fly (Musca domestica).en
