Rainfall interception is a process of keeping temporarily of the rain water on vegetation crown, before it is being evaporated. Interception process is a phenomenon which needs to be taken into account, because it constitutes one form of water loss from a particular site. Rainfall interception in oil palm plantation need to be known to estimate the amount of rainfall which becomes run off.
