dc.description.abstractBa0,5Sr0,5TiO3 (BST) thin films have been prepared on Si (100) p-type substrates using a chemical solution depotition (CSD) methode, using Ta2O5 (BSTT) with variation of doping content (0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, and 10%). Chemical Solution Deposition Method (CSD) used the spin coating technique at a speed of around 3000 rpm for 30 seconds. BST thin films annealed at a temperature 850oC, then characterized by spectrophotometer for optical properties characterization, LCR meter for electrical conductivity characterization and Shimadzu-7000 X-ray diffractometer for XRD characterization. The result shows that optical absorption has smaller reflectance with increasing Ta2O5 dopant. This resulted in a decreased refractive index and bandgap energy of BST thin films. From current-voltage (I-V) characterization, we can conclude that BST thin film has a good response to color and light source. Electrical conductivity and dielectric constant value of BST and BSTT thin films are in the range semiconductor materials and electrical conductivity values obtained increased when the higher intensity light is used whereas resistance value could decrease if the light intensity is increased. The addition of tantalum pentaoxide dopant will increases electrical conductivity value of BST and BSTT thin films. X-Ray diffraction showed that BST thin film has a tetragonal crystal structure. Then, SEM-EDX characterization showed that BST thin film with Ta2O5 dopant have been made successfully, we can see that grain size of BST thin film will decrease with increasing Ta2O5 dopant.en
dc.description.abstractKajian material ferroelektrik semakin banyak dilakukan dan dikembangkan oleh para ilmuwan. Salah satu material ferroelektrik yang banyak dikembangkan adalah Barium Strontium Titanate (BST). Barium Strontium titanate (BST) thin film banyak diaplikasikan sebagai Non Volatile Memory Device, Dynamic random Acces Memory (DRAM), voltage tunable device, Infra Red (IR), sensor kelembaban, sensor cahaya dan sensor gula. Selain itu, BST thin film dapat diaplikasikan sebagai fotodetektor. Salah satu jenis fotodetektor yang pernah dibuat adalah ZnSe metal–insulator–semikonductor (MIS). Fotodetektor ini disintesis pada substrat ZnSe yang dilapisi oleh BST (Ba0.25Sr0.75TiO3) dan SiO2. Selain itu terdapat pula fotodetektor berbasis GaN. Fotodetektor ini dibuat dari material yang memiliki energi bandgap yang lebar. Hal ini menyebabkan terbentuknya fotodetektor yang sensitif pada daerah panjang gelombang sinar ultra violet. Hal ini menimbulkan munculnya ide pembuatan fotodetektor berbasis film tipis BST yang dibuat pada substrat silikon. Fotodetektor ini sensitif pada daerah panjang gelombang sinar tampak dan infra merah. Sehingga dapat diaplikasikan sebagai sensor warna yang membutuhkan sensor yang peka pada daerah panjang gelombang cahaya tampakIND
