      Abstract
      Digital certificate is a digital file which is used as a companion of conventional certificate. Digital certificates can be made by educational institutions with the guarantee of data integrity and authentication. Digital certificate authentication can be performed using a digital signature. Certificate validation process requires the agreement of several parties. Threshold secret sharing schemes can be used on a digital certificate to accommodate the needs of certificate validation that involves many parties. However, there are certain conditions in the involvement of these parties, therefore the threshold secret sharing scheme needs to be modified. The purpose of this study was to implement a DSA digital signature scheme, modify the threshold Secret Sharing Scheme, and implement the modified threshold secret sharing scheme on digital certificate. Modified threshold secret sharing scheme consists of the modification process, the setup implementation, and the secret reconstruction process implementation. The DSA digital signature scheme is implemented and connected with the implementation of the modified threshold secret sharing scheme to accommodate signing process which involves many parties. This study has successfully implemented DSA digital signature scheme and the modified threshold secret sharing scheme
