dc.description.abstract	Kennel is the place for care and breeding dogs. Kennel used to preserve the genetic and as an attempt to take provit. A good kennel management must consider the welfare of animals to ensure the quality of the dogs life during their stay there. This studied aim to observe: the level of animal welfare at the kennel, the level of knowledge, attitude and practices of kennel owner performed by interviewing respondents using questionnaires and observation. Data analysis to determine associations between variables using chi-square and gamma tests. The results show that the characteristics of the owner (age, level of education, training, experience and scale of business) are not related. There is association between knowledge (P<0,05) and attitudes (P<0,05) towards animal welfare practices.	en
