Beberapa Aspek Biologi Reproduksi Kerang Pantai Berlumpur (Anodontiae edentula, Linnaeus, 158) pada Ekosistem Mangrove Teluk Ambon Bagian Dalam

Abstract

Study on some aspects of reproductive biology of mudflat clam has b€en oamed out on maryrove ecosystem in inner Ambon bay. Reproductive parameters were consist of sex ratio, gonado somatic index (GSI), gonad maturity level of female and fecundity. The result showed rhat the percentage of malew asa se quivalent as female.The peakso f GSI and gonad maturity level of female occurad in April and M ay (the b eginning of erseason land also in November and Decembe(dry season)T he abundance o f fecundity was found in September and October and assumed spawned in November and December It was concluded that spawning occured throughout the year.
