dc.description.abstractPercobaan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari penggunaan uji hayati akar pada fase kecambah sebagai metode evaluasi toleransi galur/varietas kedelai terhadap cekaman alumunium (Al) dan melakukan uji verifikasi daya adaptasi serta konsistensi toleransi suatu galur/varietas kedelai terhadap cekaman alumunium. Percobaan I merupakan percobaan lapangn yang dilakukan di Desa Guradog Lebak, pada bulan Januari 1998 sampai Juli 1999. Percobaan II merupakan uji hayati akar fase kecambah (root bioassay test), dilakukan di rumah kaca Pusat Antar Universitas (PAU) IPB Darmaga Bogor, pada bulan Januari 2000 sampai Mei 2000.id
dc.description.abstractSoybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) is an important food crop commodity in Indonesia, serving as a primary source of plant-based protein for human consumption and as a key protein component in animal feed. The demand for soybeans continues to increase in line with efforts to improve public nutrition and the expansion of the livestock sector. To meet this growing demand, production must be enhanced through both intensification and extensification programs. Intensification efforts are mainly carried out on fertile lands, particularly in Java, while extensification involves the development of new agricultural areas that are often marginal, including dry and acidic soils. However, these marginal conditions are generally less favorable for optimal soybean growth and development, posing challenges to achieving increased productivity.
