Perencanaan Lanskap Situ Rawa Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, Jakarta Timur
Abstract
In landscape, water was one of the decisive element of a shape and function. Water was also a natural resource which had a very important function for living creatures. Lake was a natural resource that almost forgotten. The main function was as buffer zone, water catchment areas and prevention of natural disasters such as floods, especially in big city like Jakarta. Protection and management of lake had less attention. Kelapa Dua Wetan Bog Lake have an area 8.40 ha and serves as a catchment area, reservoir, and rain water control in East Jakarta by KDB 20% based RUTR Jakarta. Physical condition of the waters were blue-black, slightly smelly, and the contaminated medium. The lake experienced siltation, narrowing, and loss due to switching function. Population pressure and the shifted- land exacerbated existing environmental conditions. The lake managed by local government in East Jakarta who planned to expand the acreage lake of the 8 to 11 Ha. Every month there was janitor of the Irrigation Department to clean up the environment around it. The basic concept in planning Kelapa Dua Wetan Bog Lake was refers to the return of the initial function of the lake as water catchment areas and flood buffer. It could be sustained existence and preservation also sustainability in the future. Landscape planning of Kelapa Dua Wetan Bog Lake as water catchment areas included spatial plan, green plan, circulation plan, landscape plan, and plan programs. The spatial planning was divided into three spaces with the main function was to restore the ecological function. Program plan aimed to support regional landscape plan of Kelapa Dua Wetan Bog Lake that addressed to people, because plan couldn’t come to fruition without the support and participation of surrounding communities.
