dc.description.abstractIndonesia is an agricultural country, it means that agriculture has an important role in the national economy. Therefore, the agricultural sector requires more attention to production and productivity can be improved. An effort has been made to support this, through the use of fertilizers. Added of fertilizer for plants can be done through the soil which can then be absorbed by plants through the roots, or can also be done through a leaf fertilizer directly absorbed by plants. In free market conditions for trade in fertilizer, as now, farmers are faced with a wide selection of types and brands of fertilizer with an increasing number of very varied quality. In connection with this it would require knowledge about the diversity of fertilizers on the market or fertilizer which is made based on local wisdom. This research was conducted with the aim of creating leaf fertilizers as well as knowing where the best fertilizer to improve soil fertility and crop productivity. This research used water spinach for testing the efficiency of the fertilizers used in this experiment. Leaf fertilizer ingredients made from chemical compounds which are available on the market. Planting was carried out in a plastic house in the back of Laboratory of Physical Development and Land Resources. Analysis of nutrient concentration of goat urine, making leaf ferlilizer and plant analysis were performed at the Laboratory of Chemistry and Soil Fertility, and the Laboratory of Physical Development and Land Resources, Department of Soil Science and Land Resources, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University. This research using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 3 replications, where the treatments are to include controls (aquadest), SA1 Fertilizer (PA), Liquid Fertilizer GDP (PB), Liquid Fertilizer GDL (PC), Gandasil D (PG), and Etawah Goat Urine (PU). Addition of fertilizer in all treatments gave a significant effect on the growth and crop production. PA and PU treatment provides a significant influence on the concentration and nutrient uptake, in which PA had higher concentration and nutrient uptake of elements N, P, and K than PU. In addition, PA had lower concentration and nutrient uptake of Ca, Mg concentration are equal, and nutrient uptake of Mg was lower than PU. For the fertilizer efficiency, PA has the highest efficiency of N and K, the same level of P efficiency, and lower efficiency of Ca and Mg than PU. Generally, both Etawah Goat urine and SA fertilizer have a better value than Gandasil D. In addition, SA1 fertilizer can be used as one alternative liquid fertilizer.en
dc.description.abstractIndonesia merupakan negara agraris, yang berarti pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Nasional. Untuk itu, sektor pertanian memerlukan perhatian lebih sehingga produksi maupun produktivitasnya dapat ditingkatkan. Salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk mendukung hal tersebut ialah penggunaan pupuk. Pemberian pupuk untuk keperluan tanaman dapat dilakukan melalui tanah yang selanjutnya dapat diserap oleh tanaman melalui akar, atau dapat juga pemupukan dilakukan melalui daun yang langsung diserap oleh tanaman. Pada kondisi pasar bebas bagi perdagangan pupuk seperti sekarang ini, petani dihadapkan pada berbagai pilihan jenis dan merek pupuk yang jumlahnya semakin banyak dengan mutu yang sangat beragam. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka diperlukan pengetahuan mengenai keragaman pupuk yang ada di pasaran maupun pupuk yang dibuat berdasarkan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan membuat pupuk buatan serta mengetahui pupuk mana yang paling baik dalam meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan produktivitas tanaman. Dalam penelitian digunakan tanaman kangkung darat untuk pengujiannya. Bahan pupuk artifisial dibuat dari senyawa-senyawa kimia yang ada di pasaran. Penanaman dilaksanakan di rumah plastik di belakang Laboratorium Pengembangan dan Sumberdaya Fisik Lahan. Analisis kadar hara urin kambing Etawah, pembuatan pupuk artifisal (SA1) serta analisis tanaman dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia dan Kesuburan Tanah, dan Laboratorium Pengembangan Sumberdaya Fisik dan Lahan, Departemen Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, di mana perlakuannya adalah meliputi Kontrol (K), Pupuk SA1 (PA), Pupuk Cair GDP (PB), Pupuk Cair GDL (PC), Pupuk Cair Gandasil (PG), dan Pupuk Cair Urin Kambing (PU). Pemberian pupuk pada semua perlakuan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan maupun produksi tanaman. Perlakuan PA maupun PU memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap kadar dan serapan hara, di mana PA memiliki kadar dan serapan hara unsur N, P, dan K lebih tinggi dibandingkan PU. Selain itu PA memiliki kadar dan serapan Ca yang lebih rendah, kadar Mg yang sama besar serta serapan Mg yang lebih rendah dibandingkan PU. Untuk tingkat efisiensi, PA kembali memiliki tingkat efisiensi N dan K yang lebih tinggi, tingkat efisiensi P yang sama besar, dan tingkat efisiensi Ca dan Mg yang lebih rendah dibandingkan PU. Secara umum, baik pupuk urin maupun pupuk artifisial SA1 mempunyai nilai yang lebih baik dibandingkan pupuk Gandasil D. Selain itu, pupuk SA1 layak dipergunakan dan dikembangkan sebagai salah satu alternatif pupuk cair.
