Analysis of Development Plan of Primary Center Gedebage in Bandung City Economic Development by Dynamic Systems Approach

Abstract

Gedebage region as an area to be developed has limitations because it includes areas that have many short comings such as lack of infrastructure and unstable soil conditions. Therefore, in the development of the Gedebage area, the system design is required in the form of engineering assessment of the performance indicators of regional development based on dynamic systems approach based on the principle of feedback between the subsystem, subsystem of the population, and economic subsystem. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Gedebage regional development plan especially Primary Center Gedebage in economic development of Bandung. This research use data analysis through modeling system that includes the land use in the region Gedebage, various economic activities and population dynamics. The research result suggests that the development of the Primary Center Gedebage as planned, will encourage the economic development of Bandung city in a positive direction.

Kawasan Gedebage sebagai kawasan yang akan dikembangkan memiliki keterbatasan karena termasuk wilayah yang memiliki banyak kekurangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kondisi tanah yang labil. Oleh karena itu dalam pengembangan kawasan Gedebage diperlukan desain sistem dalam bentuk pengkajian rekayasa terhadap indikator kinerja pembangunan wilayah berdasarkan pendekatan sistem dinamik yang didasari oleh prinsip umpan balik antar subsitem wilayah, subsitem penduduk, dan subsitem ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis rencana pengembangan kawasan Gedebage terutama Pusat Primer Gedebage terhadap pembangunan ekonomi Kota Bandung. Untuk menjawab permasalahan dilakukan analisis data melalui sistem pemodelan yang meliputi penggunaan lahan di kawasan Gedebage, berbagai kegiatan ekonomi, serta dinamika populasi penduduk. Dari simpulan utama menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kawasan Pusat Primer Gedebage yang sesuai dengan yang direncanakan akan mendorong pembangunan ekonomi Kota Bandung kearah yang positif
