Research on reproductive span of Indonesian women is scarce. There was conflicting data between urban and rural area. Present study used longitudinal data to get the reproductive span of women who live in Cirebon rural community. Data was collected from interview. The data was processed using the Probit GLM (Generalized Linear Models). The result showed that age of menarche was 14.51 years and menopause was 48.53 years, so that the reproductive span was 34.02 years. This reproductive span is not influenced by the use of contraceptives and their reproductive history which included age at first childbirth, the distance between the first and last pregnancy and number of children (parity). Women in rural areas have a shorter reproductive span than women in urban areas. Secular trends decreased the age of menarche.en
