dc.description.abstract | Some students have difficulty when learning geometry. It is because imagining, designing, and describing a geometric object requires high imagination or abstraction to understand it. This research implements the formation of extruded object method on VRML. The method is used to build and visualize a variety of geometric object model. The research built a web-based system. It can assist students for studying the shape of geometric objects. The research was conducted in several stages which adapted from waterfall model. The results of testing system and questionnairing to some respondents indicated functions on the system run well and the level of system usability was good. The results of extrusion method were more varied than primitive models. Surface texture of ball, cone, and tube which used extrusion method were smoother than primitive models. | en |
