The condition of Indonesian forests are getting decrease resulted in the decreasing tendency of annual timber production from natural forests even in terms of quality and quantity. On the other hand the increasing in population, welfare, and technology will cause the increasing in community needs to the wood products from time to time. This issue leads to the occurrence of wood scarcity, the solution to cope with it is by replacing the usage of solid wood for construction materials with the usage of glulam (Glued Laminated Timber). According to Seng (1990), the wood is considered durable if it has a long service life (at least 20 years). The Durability of wood is important to be known because it is closely linked to its usage (Sumarni and Muslich 2007). Therefore, the glulam was tested against termites attack (Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgreen) to determine the extent of the glulam durability.en
