Soil degradation is decreasing of soil productivity. This decreasing is also connected with decreasing of physical value and soil chemical. Commonly in wet tropical in order to Indonesia, lost of cover vegetation is main cause why is soil degradation happened. This is because the climate will influence directly to the soil and become erosion and nutrient washing. The aim of this research is assessment degradation level in horticulture agriculture based on physicaly and chemically. Physical value is observed by previous erosion and soil morphology e.g soil color, deepness of top soil and soil solum. Chemical value is observed C-organic, CEC, N-total, pH, P-available and alkali saturation soil. The result will be compared to data soil analysis in natural forest which is consider as control because in natural forest the soil degradation assumed zero. Soil sample are Andosol was taken from two different area which are Punceling forest (natural forest with age utilizing over 200 year) and horticulture agriculture (age utilizing about 65 year) Countryside Alamendah, Subdistrict Rancabali, Regency of Bandung. Chemical analysis was conducted in laboratory of Mineralogy and Soil Classification, Departement of Soil Science and Land Resources, Faculty of Agriculture, Institute of Agriculture Bogor.en
