Purifikasi Dan Karakterisasi Imunoglobulin Y (IgY) Pada Telur Ayam Kampung
Abstract
The objective of this research was to purified and characterized yolk immunoglobulin (IgY) from Indonesian native chicken eggs. Fourty eggs were collected from Cibanteng, Ciampea, Cinangneng, and Darmaga. IgY from egg yolk were puri$ed with Water Soluble Fraction (WSF) method combinated by 12% PEG 6000 and 40% Amonium sulpha methodt. IgY molecular weight was established by SDS-PAGE and the concentration was determinated by UV specfrophotometer. The result show that average IgY concentration from native chicken eggs was 7.86 mngml. Molecular weight of native chicken IgY was 180 and I70 kDa..
