Abstract

Genetic potential and variation of livestock genetic resources necessary preserved and protected, in future was utilized. Kisar sheep were local livestock which developed long ago and to go by natural selection adjust to their environment, so that formed unique characteristics that only their owned it. Information on the origin, characteristics, population status and genetic variation of kisar sheep have not been known exactly.
