      Abstract
Sus celebensis is endemic to Sulawesi, Indonesia. S. celebensis has unique form, size and color. This animal is not protected by the law, not listed in the Red List Data Book (1996) IUCN and CITES. This case is one of the reasons that the hunt of S. celebensis can be done easily without sanction to the hunter. The research was conducted in Tanjung Peropa Wildlife Reserve, South East Sulawesi from Agustus to November 2006. Based on observation, Tanjung Peropa Wildlife Reserve is divided in three types habitat, used by S. celebensis including bamboo forest, riparian forest and lowland forest. Based on vegetation analysis, riparian forest is dominated by jolea (Cleistanthus sumatranus) for seeding, mehere (Drypetes cf. gfobosa) in sapling level, kasumeeto (Diospyros malabarica) in pole level, weewu (Planchonia valida) in tree level, and hao ani (Spatolobus ferrugineus) in under plant. Plant which most dominate in lowland forest is holea (Cleistanthus sumatranus) in seedling, sapling and pole level kapu gone (ficus sp) in tree level and tokoalinda (Elastotema rostratum) in under plant.
