dc.description.abstractThe population of Sumatran Orangutan (P. abeii) nowadays in nature keep decreasing as the impacts of gross land destruction because of human's needs to land area and woods in high level. This condition become more serious when human's wants to make Orangutan (P.abeii)become endangered in its native habitat. Protection and rehabilitation methods that was done could not avoid or prevent speed of extinction of this animal in nature. Reintroduction is the modern rehabilitation activity by releasing some indicidues to the wildlife or by preparing siezumed animals become feral to conservation forest area as a new habitat where the species is not present at the moment. This study was done in august to December 2006 at Station of Sumatran Orangutan Reintroduction Centre in Buffer zone Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park, Kabupaten Tebo, Province of Jambi. The aim of this study was to measure the influence of determining factors to Orangutans reintroduction succesful to their native habitat and to identify other factors which give impact to reintroduction succesful. The results of this study are expected can give informations of succesful determination by using factors to Sumateran Orangutan reintroduction succesful in native habitaten
