Abstract

The Society around forest has a strong correlation with the forest and the environment; also there is dependence between the society and forest resources. Making efficient use of the society becomes an important and determined thing in order to keep the preservation of the forest. The information about the situation and condition of the society becomes the things that need to be concerded. Such as perception, attitude and behaviour of the society which are expected to be in accordance with the principle of the conservation. Perception, attitude and behaviour prossess a connection one another and influence each with production forest (Perhutani)and Research Forest haurbenties, is they feel that they have a direct connection in economics and ecology. The economics use that the respondents feel interrelated with the existence of land as an area to produce and others forest products. This research intends to know the perception, attitude and behaviour of the society towards the forest in keeping the preservation of the forest, to know the factors that influence the perception, attitude and behaviour towards forest resources, also to know the relation among the perception, attitude and behaviour of the society it self
