Penentuan lokasi layanan kesehatan terdekat berbasis Cellular Network Identification
Abstract
Location Based Services is service that uses the location of the target for adding value to the service. There are several methods for finding location of a device, they are Global Positioning System (GPS), Cell identification, WiFi identification. This research implemented cell identification method for location identification. Cell identification is a method to get target position by determining the base station position that served the cellular phone (proximity sensing). Once the cell id of the base transceiver station was obtained, the cell id was converted into related latitude and longitude using filtered database from www.opencellid.org. The location presented by those latitude and longitude was displayed in a map using google static maps. As an added value service, health care services around that location will be provided. Our experiments showed that the average respond time of system for find location of target was 8.23 second. For some streets, the result were not available due to the limitation of the database.
