dc.description.abstract | This experiment was conducted to characterize immunoglobulin gamma (IgG) in colostrum of Friesian Holstein (FH) cow which vaccined by Avian Influenza virus vaccine subtype H5N1. Samples was divided into three sample, Kol I Sp4, Kol II Sp4, Kol III Sp4. These samples were compared to IgG control. IgG control was colostrum sample from unvaccinated FH cow. Characterization of IgG were done by SDS-PAGE method. The result showed that IgG control have three band proteins and the IgG colostrums from vaccinated cow have five to six band proteins. The molecular weight (MW) of these protein samples ranged between 19.49 to 228.09 kDa. There were differences between the molecular weight of sample protein Kol I SP4, Kol II SP4, and Kol III SP4 with IgG control. Based on the protein size bands, there were different between Kol I SP4, Kol II SP4, and Kol III SP4. There were some unidentified protein in the sample. Conclusion, MW of IgG from colostrum samples vaccinated are 147.37 kDa, 147.37 kDa, 140.57 kDa and the IgG control was 161.57 kDa. | en |
