dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to evaluate the blood dynamics of sheep that includes total number of white blood cells and diferential of white blood cells (lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils) in sheep implanted with the HA-TCP and HA-Chitosan in the tibia bones. Six local sheeps were used in this experiment. Six local sheeps divided into two group. Group I implanted with the HA-TCP and groups II implanted with HA-Chitosan. Blood sample were collected from jugular veins and were observed presurgery (H0) and 3, 7, 14, 21, 30, 60 and 90 days postsurgery. The results showed that the dynamics of white blood cell in both treatment groups in the normal range. White blood cell profile was showed the implant was not rejected by the body and did not cause any excessive inflammatory reaction.en
