Combining grasses and legumes in a mixed pasture has long been proved as a cheap way to improve forage production and quality. An experiment was conducted to study the effect of cutting internal and cutting intensity on the production and quality of mixed pasture between setaria grass and three species of tropical legumes. Two cutting-interval levels (40 days and 60 days) and four cutting-intensity levels (5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm above the ground) were combined in 2 X 4 factorial Randomized Blok Design. Eight lambs were used in this experiment to study the consumption and digestibility value of the forage.en
