dc.description.abstractCntrasonic method was utilized for the measurement of attenuation of ultrasonic wave through duriun. Thirty six .durians . consits of ripe and unripe fruit harvested from Ciherang Bogor were tested. The whole durians were subjected to attenuation and 1 physical properties measurement. Following this procedure, all durians were opened to measure firmness and dotal soluble solid 1 (TSS) of the pulp. The data set were analyzed statiscally for the relationship between ultrasonic (Mo)parameter, firmness and TSS. There were significant relationship between Mo and firmness ( r = 0.76), and Mo and TSS (r = - 0.71). There a was also a significant 1 relationship between ultrasonic parameter combined with mass (r = 0.84) and the firmness of durian'spulp.
