Peningkatan Kapasitas Pemerintahan Nagari Melalui Penerapan Good Governance

Abstract

It is believed that the nagari system of government currently applied in west sumatera can empower the community because it is suitable to community’s characteristics, culturally well-rooted and has been tested to work well as the as the lowest rank of government. This system is different from the village or subdistrict system of government, particularly in terms of the relationship between the government and the people as well as their rooted culture. The culture underlying the system is Minanngkabau culture.
