dc.description.abstract | MIZWAR AMANSYAH. B04051631. Detection of Anti-Escherichia coli’s antibody for Friesian Holstein’s cow colostrum Post E. coli Vaccination with ELISA Method. Under directed: ANITA ESFANDIARI dan SRI MURTINI. This experiment was conducted to detect Escherichia coli (E. coli) K99 antibody in colostrum of Friesian Holstein’s cows vaccined by E. coli K99. Six pregnant cows were vaccined three times at 8, 6, 4 weeks before parturition. The vaccine was given by intramuscular with 5 ml/ animal doses. The colostrum was collected until 5th day after parturition. Immunoglobulin Gamma (IgG) antibody in the colostrum was detected using indirect ELISA method. The result of research shown that antibody can detected from first until colostrum 9, with concentration about 1,054 – 1,129 μg/100 μl. The highest colostrum concentration there in colostrum 1 with 1,129 ± 0,005 μg/100 μl. The conclusion of this research is pregnant cows which given vaccine E. coli polivalen can produce of spesific antibody from E. coli K99 in colostrum first until colostrum nineth with IgG concentration have decrease from colostrum first until colostrum third.
