dc.description.abstractAlginat was produced from Azotobacter r.Llelandii h e r the bacteria was grown in sinthetic and liquid tofu waste (LCT) media and properties of the bacterial alginate were investigated. The highgest amount of bacterial alginate was obtained after 4 days of incubation in the liquid tofu waste in the presence of mineral at 31OC and 170 rpm shaking spezd. The viscosity of the culture broth was 10.5. The bacterial alginate was stable agains pH (5 - 10) and the presence of sodium chloride (1 - 2.5%). The bacterial alginate showed good rheological properties compared with the commercial alginate.id
