Land Cover Classification Using Integration of Aerial Photograph and Landsat TM, case study ofPacet, Cianjur Distric, West Java

The purpose of this research is to classified land cover from the combination of Landsat TM image and digital aerial photograph based on the election of band combination trough Optimum Index Factor (OIF) and analysis of visual displayed approach from digital aerial photograph and Landsat TM image. Remoter sensing datas was used on this research were Landsat TM image 1997 and aerial photograph of Cianjur with in 1:50.000 scale of 1993 from the fly path and number of photo subsequently: W 11!NY 3639, W 1 1 !NY 36 40, W 11!NY 36 41, and W 12!NY 36 28, W 12!NY 36 29, W 12!NY 36 30. Geographic and administrative data of the research area were taken from the map of Cianjur District Administrative with in 1:130.000 scale and Topographic Map (Cugenang, Cipanas and Cisarua) with in i:25.000 scaie. To classified the land cover, the analysis of Landsat TM image and digital aerial photograph was conducted first, then combination from both data. To gain data of digital aerial photograph, the aerial photograph was scanned with 170 dpi resolution which equal to the size (7.47x7.47) m in the field (in reality).
