Agriculture intensification is increasing these days due to the lack of agricultural land. This intensification effort is highly potential in reducing soil organic matter and furthermore could decrease the properties of soil biology, chemistry, and physics. Adding more organic matter through processing organic waste, like waste of mushroom media is required to maintain soil organic matter. Composting is the efficient technology in processing organic waste into organic matter that can be added to soil. Besides producing good quality compost, vermicomposting will produce eathworms biomass to other usefulness. The objective of this research is to study the effect of lime and protein addition on the quality of vermicompost from waste of mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) media.id
