dc.description.abstractWater management is one way to overcome some problems that is faced in acid sulphate soil. The drainage will cause pyrite layer oxidized and released W, Fe3+ and SO4 2-, the soil acidity becomes lower. A high acidity will cause silicate mineral destroyed and released Al3+, K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe3+. Soil leaching makes poisonous elements decreasing, however the elements that are needed by plants are leached as well. It will raise new problem that is the decreasing of water quality because of the increasing soil acidity and toxic elements content, such as AI, Fe and S04 2- in water.id
