dc.description.abstract | Baseline rice field mapping is a mapping operation with wall to wall coverage characteristic, multi-purpose and cartographic base construction. This activity is suitable for tandem operation for routine updating of rural areal topographic map, in the rice production centre region to optimized cost. BIMAS- 21 is the first systematic method for baseline rice field mapping in Indonesia which adapt this approach. This research used ALOS PRISM and ALOS PALSAR imageries of Kabupaten Subang which ware recorded in 2007. Detailed analysis using ALOS PRISM was executed in Kecamatan Ciasem, and concentrated to the three villages: Desa Ciasembaru, Desa Ciasemtengah, and Desa Ciasemhilir. The processing of ALOS PRISM images were targeted to baseline rice field mapping, whereas the processing of ALOS PALSAR imageries were directed for plant growth monitoring, including rice phenology and planting progress acreage. | id |
