dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to see the effect of lime and humic substance application on: 1) soil aggregate stability, soil water characteristic (water content at pF1, pF2, pF2.54 and pF4.2), 2) Water movement on unsaturated soil, such as advance of wetting front, soil conductivity and difusivity, and 3) the growth of soya bean. This study was conducted on March 1999 until January 2000 at soil physic laboratory of IPB and Puslittanak for soil physical characteristic measurement and green house of IPB baranang siang for crop growth experiment. Soil sample used in this study is Latosol and humic substance used were obtained from peat soil from the area of PT. SAC Nusantara Mesuji.id
