Implementasi Fully Homomorphic Encryption pada Proses Inferensi Model Prediksi Depresi
Abstract
Model prediksi berbasis machine learning berpotensi mempercepat deteksi dini depresi, tetapi penerapannya dibayangi kekhawatiran terkait privasi data. Machine learning-based prediction models could accelerate early detection of depression, but their adoption is hindered by data privacy concerns. This study addresses these concerns by implementing fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to model inference. The evaluation covered accuracy, computation time, memory usage, and communication cost. A Flask-based client-server system was built to simulate real-world deployment. The results show that FHE inference accuracy is nearly identical to plaintext inference (mean absolute errors on the order of 10-12). Compared with plaintext, FHE increases computation time from 74.64 µs to 110.32 ms (about 1500 times), and memory usage from 1.93 kB to 46.02 MB (about 23,300 times). The FHE setup stage accounts for 58.09% of computation time and 98.60% of memory usage. In the client-server architecture (bandwidth of about 50–95 Mbps), data transmission accounts for 90.17% of the total communication cost. Therefore, FHE is worth considering when data privacy takes priority over efficiency.
