Entomopathogenic nematodes are a group of insect parasitic nematodes that act as biological agents and have the potential to be used as biological insecticides because of their ability to infect and kill their insect hosts in a relatively short period of time. The presence of these entomopathogenic nematodes is influenced by environmental conditions, including both climatic and edaphic factors. The exploration in this study was conducted using the insect bait method with Tenebrio molitor larvae. Purification was performed using the White trap method in sterile water, followed by a count of the population density of Infective Juveniles (IJ/mL). Identification was based on morphological characteristics. This study identified two species of entomopathogenic nematodes Steinernema sp. and Heterorhabditis sp.. Nematodes from the Agathis stand showed the highest average density of infective juveniles at 3.030,5 JI/mL, followed by the pine stand at 1.531,5 JI/mL, and the Puspa stand at 1.768 JI/mL. Nematodes from the pine stands showed the highest average infection rate of 38% compared to the Agathis and Puspa stands. The presence of entomopathogenic nematodes showed a strong negative correlation with air temperature and a strong positive correlation with litter depth, indicating that a more humid microclimate may serve as a natural habitat supporting the development of entomopathogenic nematodes.
