The IoT Laboratory stores high-value equipment that is vulnerable to unauthorized access outside operational hours. This study designs an IoT-based door security system using an ESP32-CAM, PIR HC-SR501 sensor, MC-38 magnetic reed switch, and buzzer, powered by a Lithium-ion 18650 battery through an XL4005 step-down module. The system uses NTP time synchronization to automatically distinguish between operational and non-operational hours. When motion is detected, the system captures a photo, stores activity data in Firebase, displays the information on a Next.js website, and sends notifications through a Telegram bot. The test results show a PIR sensor detection accuracy of 93.33% in the target area and 90.00% overall based on 30 trials. The average Telegram notification delay was 4.63 seconds, all six system functionality test scenarios performed as expected, and the estimated battery endurance reached approximately 40 hours.
