This final project aimed to analyze the effect of eggshell powder application on the growth and quality of peashoot microgreens compared with conventional growing media in an urban farming system. The research employed a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through observation, measurement, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using One Way ANOVA for normally distributed data and the Kruskal–Wallis test for non-normally distributed data at a significance level of 5% (a = 0.05). The results showed that eggshell powder application significantly affected (p < 0.05) the growth of peashoot microgreens, as indicated by increased plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter compared with conventional growing media. The best treatment was obtained by applying 20 g of eggshell powder (P2), which produced the highest harvest weight of 42 g. These results indicate that eggshell powder has the potential to be utilized as a natural calcium source to improve the growth and production yield of peashoot microgreens in urban farming systems. Further research is recommended to include additional parameters, such as shelf life and postharvest quality, to provide more comprehensive information regarding the effect of eggshell powder on the growth and quality of peashoot microgreens.
