Evaluasi Random Forest dan LSTM untuk Klasifikasi Gerakan Pergelangan Tangan Berbasis IMU dengan Monitoring sEMG.
Abstract
Evaluasi held-out trial menghasilkan akurasi Random Forest (RF) sebesar 87,71% dan Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) sebesar 97,93% pada lima kelas gerakan. Post-stroke motor impairment may limit wrist function, requiring a system
capable of obtaining movement and muscle-activity information. This study
developed a wrist rehabilitation system using an inertial measurement unit (IMU)
for movement classification and surface electromyography (sEMG) for muscleactivity monitoring. Six IMU channels were segmented using 50-sample windows
with a 25-sample step, producing 30 features per window. Held-out-trial evaluation
achieved accuracies of 87.71% for Random Forest (RF) and 97.93% for Long
Short-Term Memory (LSTM) across five movement classes. The sEMG signal was
processed using root mean square (RMS) to determine LOW and NORMAL
activity states. The real-time implementation used RF integrated with Python,
MQTT, ESP32, OpenRB-150, and Dynamixel MX-28AT actuators. Bench testing
produced tracking RMSE values of 10.69° for flexion-extension and 7.28° for
radial-ulnar motion with no overshoot.
