| dc.description.abstract | Tegakan pinus berperan penting dalam penyimpanan biomassa dan karbon hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga biomassa dan simpanan karbon pohon Pinus insularis, Pinus oocarpa, dan Pinus merkusii di Hutan Pendidikan Gunung Walat. Penelitian dilakukan pada April 2026 dengan metode nondestruktif melalui pengukuran diameter, tinggi pohon, dan dimensi luka sadap pada 500 pohon contoh. Biomassa diduga menggunakan persamaan alometrik, sedangkan simpanan karbon dihitung dengan faktor konversi 0,47. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biomassa aktual tertinggi terdapat pada Pinus merkusii sebesar 1,821 ton/pohon, diikuti Pinus oocarpa sebesar 1,675 ton/pohon dan Pinus insularis sebesar 1,300 ton/pohon. Simpanan karbon aktual tertinggi juga terdapat pada Pinus merkusii sebesar 0,856 ton/pohon, diikuti Pinus oocarpa sebesar 0,787 ton/pohon dan Pinus insularis sebesar 0,611 ton/pohon. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Pine stands play an important role in forest biomass and carbon storage. This study aimed to estimate tree biomass and carbon stocks of Pinus insularis, Pinus oocarpa, and Pinus merkusii in Gunung Walat Educational Forest. The study was conducted in April 2026 using a nondestructive method by measuring diameter, tree height, and tapping wound dimensions from 500 sample trees. Biomass was estimated using allometric equations, while carbon stock was calculated using a 0.47 conversion factor. The results showed that the highest actual biomass was found in Pinus merkusii at 1,821 tons/tree, followed by Pinus oocarpa at 1,675 tons/tree and Pinus insularis at 1,300 tons/tree. The highest actual carbon stock was also found in Pinus merkusii at 0,856 tons/tree, followed by Pinus oocarpa at 0,787 tons/tree and Pinus insularis at 0,611 tons/tree. | |
