      Performa Mekanis dan Akustik pada Panel Sandwich Bambu Ampel dengan Variasi Material Peredam Suara

      Abstract
      Kebisingan pada ruang interior membutuhkan material yang mampu mereduksi suara sekaligus memiliki kekuatan yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh diameter bambu ampel dan variasi material peredam suara terhadap performa akustik dan mekanis panel sandwich. Panel terdiri dari plywood sebagai skin, buluh bambu berdiameter 5 dan 7 cm sebagai core, serta rockwool, glasswool, PE foam, dan styrofoam sebagai material pengisinya. Pengujian meliputi sound pressure level difference (D) menurut ISO 140-4:1998, serta MOE, MOR, dan IB berdasarkan ASTM C393-00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis material berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter. Rockwool menghasilkan performa akustik tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata nilai D sebesar 9,62 dB, sedangkan styrofoam menghasilkan nilai MOE tertinggi sebesar 356,68 MPa dan MOR tertinggi sebesar 1,361 MPa. Panel kontrol menghasilkan nilai IB tertinggi sebesar 0,360 MPa. Diameter bambu tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap D dan MOE, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap MOR dan IB. Panel sandwich bambu ampel berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai material interior multifungsi.
       
      Noise in interior spaces requires materials that can reduce sound transmission while maintaining adequate strength. This study aimed to analyze the effects of ampel bamboo diameter and sound-absorbing material type on the acoustic and mechanical performance of sandwich panels. The panels consisted of plywood as the skin, bamboo culm (5 and 7 cm diamenetrs) as the core, and rockwool, glasswool, PE foam, and styrofoam as filling materials. The tests included sound pressure level difference (D) in accordance with ISO 140-4:1998, as well as MOE, MOR, and IB based on ASTM C393-00. The results showed that, the filling material type significantly affected all parameters. Rockwool produced the highest acoustic performance with D value of 9.62 dB, while styrofoam produced the highest MOE and MOR values of 356.68 MPa and 1.361 MPa, respectively. The control panel produced the highest IB value of 0.360 MPa. Bamboo diameter did not significantly affect D value and MOE but significantly affected MOR and IB. Ampel bamboo sandwich panels have potential to be developed as multifunctional interior materials
